There seems to be a little more facial hair noticeable around Monaghan Town this month as the Grahams man, together with the Westenra Arms Hotel and other companies in Monaghan Town are helping to raise vital funds for Crocus Monaghan.

Crocus is a peer support group for those men and women who are living with a c ancer diagnosis. Whether you are newly diagnosed or managing your cancer for some time, they are there to offer you the support that you need in a  caring and confidential environment.

It was established in 2010 by a group of Cancer Survivors. They are solely dependent on donations and charity fundraising events. Members can avail of the counselling services and also the complimentary therapies during their cancer treatment.

The Monaghan Men will be growing out their beards for the month of November and taking part in a shave off at  the end of the month.

Our lovely G Cafe girls are helping out the boys by donating any tips they receive for the month of November also.

“It is due to the ongoing fundraising by the generous people of Monaghan and the surrounding areas that enables us to continue to provide these vital support services.”

Check out our Facebook Page for updates on our men’s progress and for details of our shave off event.
